This is an original way of discovering the exhibition’s depth and diversity.

The "Visite insolite" offers a unique vision of the exhibitions and allows visitors to discover them from a precise viewpoint by establishing connections to the history of art and contemporary ideas, or by bringing into play other senses and other ways of discovering the artwork on display experientially.

A Visite insolite on the theme "Être Nature"

A discovery of the Exposition Générale through a journey that explores works ranging from the Vendée to the Massif Central and from the Amazon to the island territories of Oceania. This stroll through the spaces allows visitors to discover a key focus of the collection: works that question the relationships between humans and their natural environment as well as the stories, beliefs, traditions, and knowledge that emerge from it.

We invite you to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour so that you can leave your personal belongings in the cloakroom located in the basement, if needed.
