Coronavirus informations

In order to guarantee your safety and that of our team, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain has adapted its visiting conditions.

Find the new visiting conditions in our visitors' charter

  • A mask is obligatory for all those over the age of 11 in all spaces of the Fondation Cartier, including its garden. Please come equipped with your own mask.
  • In case of fever and other symptoms associated with Covid-19, please postpone your visit.
  • The purchase of tickets can now be done online only with the reservation of a specific time slot. Tickets are in the visitor’s name. Maximum of 4 tickets can be reserved per person.
  • As the number of entries is limited to 20 visitors every 30 minutes, please respect the booked time slot
  • The duration of each visit cannot exceed 2 hours.
  • A designated route has been put in place to allow visitors to discover the exhibition in a way that allows us to respect social distancing requirements.

Security measures

Following the state of emergency implementation and the strengthening of security measures as part of the Vigipirate plan, we would like to inform you that:


  • Bags will be checked at the entrance.
  • Luggage and bulky objects (suitcases, large backpacks, scooters, bicycles, etc.) are prohibited.
  • Only handbags and small backpacks (A3 size) are permitted.
  • Strollers may not be left in the exhibition spaces unattended.

Exhibition prices

During these unprecedented times, the purchase of tickets can now be done online only with the reservation of a specific time slot. Tickets are in the visitor’s name.

Group

The Fondation Cartier offers guided group tours of the exhibition, up to 10 people accompanying adults.

Information and reservations

Schools

The Fondation Cartier offers tours to teachers and their students. A visitor guide is available for download in the exhibition page. School visits will start again in September. The groups will be limited to 10 persons.

The Fondation Cartier and its garden are strictly non-smoking areas.

Only the ground floor and basement areas are open to the public. Visits are not allowed to the office floors and the terrace.
