The Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain places accessibility at the heart of its mission and access open to all audiences, regardless of their age, their systems of thought or their cultural references, so that everyone feels welcomed and legitimate.

By offering the means to acquire knowledge and skills, encouraging a plurality of voices and making emotion a vehicle for understanding, the cultural outreach programme invites everyone to engage in exploration and open themselves up to new ideas.

The activities offered aim to transmit knowledge and skills by opening up access to them, for the visitor to experiment to deepen their relationship to the works, and also foster sharing by situating every encounter within a group dynamic.

Underpinned by the daily commitment of its cultural outreach team, the cultural outreach and education programme is implemented through bold and varied formats, providing the means to enter into frequency with the exhibitions. Improvised conversations around the works, guided tours, family activities, workshops, encounters with guest creators, moments of coming together and tools to aid visitors: all these formats combine to offer unique experiences which extend and enrich the discovery of the exhibitions, serving as levers to awaken curiosity, connect the sensory to knowledge and open up a path for everyone towards contemporary creation.
