We strongly recommend booking tickets online, even if you are eligible for free admission. Subject to availability, tickets may be sold at the ticket office. Please note that visitors who have purchased their admission ticket at the ticket office located on Rue Saint Honoré must also wait in line with those who have booked their tickets online (Place du Palais Royal). 

The date, time and price of the exhibition tickets reserved through our online ticket office can be modified at any time before the date of the original visit, by clicking on the link in your order confirmation email. After this deadline, or for other activities, the tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.  In the event of a price increase, the difference must be paid. Please note that it is not possible to change an activity, and that our tickets are non-refundable, in accordance with our general terms and conditions of sale.

Free admission tickets may be cancelled. 

You can enter the Fondation within 30 minutes of the time indicated on  your ticket.

During exhibition periods, the Fondation’s bookshop may only be accessed via the exhibition spaces by visitors with an admission ticket. Between exhibitions, the bookshop can be accessed free of charge by the general public through its entrance on Rue de Rivoli. 

Visitors with disabilities, press card holders and ICOM members, and visitors possessing tickets without a specific visit date can use the fast-track line.  

Wheelchairs can be made available (subject to availability) on request, by asking our front of house team. Seat sticks are also freely available for use in the exhibition rooms. 

Only guide dogs and service animals (upon presentation of a medical certificate) are allowed to enter the exhibition spaces. 

Yes, all of the Fondation Cartier’s spaces are accessible with a pram. For models that are too large to fit through the circulation areas and between the works, they must be left in the cloakroom. Baby carriers are available upon request from our reception team, subject to availability.

The Fondation Cartier is closed on December 25, January 1, and May 1. Early closings will take place on December 24 and 31 at 6 p.m.

Evacuation of the Fondation Cartier's spaces begins 30 minutes before its closing time: 9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 7:30 p.m. the rest of the week.

No, there is no permanent exhibition at the Fondation Cartier. All of our exhibitions are temporary.   

The Collection of the Fondation Cartier is not on display as such. However, works from the collection may be put on display during temporary exhibitions. 

Lockers are available in which you can leave your smaller personal items, subject to availability (rucksack size). 
For security reasons, larger items, such as luggage (cabin bag size and bigger), scooters, folding bicycles, skateboards etc, are not allowed inside the Fondation Cartier’s premises.

In accordance with Law No. 2018-771 of September 5, 2018, on the freedom to choose one's professional future and its implementing decree No. 2019-15 of January 8, 2019, implementing provisions aimed at eliminating the pay gap between women and men, Cartier et Cie is publishing the details of its Gender Equality Index for 2024.

Due to the distribution of our workforce, the overall index cannot be calculated.

The indicator details are as follows:

• Pay gap indicator: not calculable

• Individual pay increase rate gap indicator: 35/35

• Return from maternity leave indicator: 15/15

• High pay indicator: 5/10

Out of a total of 60 points, we obtained a score of 55, which demonstrates our vigilance and daily commitment.
