Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the Fondation Cartier is a unique architectural setting whose modularity serves creativity and innovation. Thanks to its 5 mobile platforms, which can be placed at 11 different heights, the dynamic architecture of our building allows for the adaptation of volumes, vertical arrangements, and lighting effects for each new exhibition. It is thus possible to conceive and host a variety of event formats, always in perfect harmony with the works presented.

Whether you are planning an elegant cocktail reception, an exclusive breakfast, an inspiring conference, or a private tour of our exhibitions, the Fondation Cartier offers a prestigious and adaptable setting, conducive to creativity and exchange.

Ideally located with an unobstructed view of the current exhibition, our 250m² reception hall is the perfect setting for your cocktail dinners. Fully privatizable on Monday evenings, the Foundation's closing day, it can accommodate between 200 and 250 people, offering an exclusive immersion into the world of contemporary art.

The Marie-Claude Beaud Studio, our modular auditorium, is designed to adapt to your needs. It can be privatized on Wednesdays and Thursdays for conferences (106 seated places + 4 for people with reduced mobility) or receptions in a flat-floor format (100m² usable space, for 100 to 130 people).

Please note: on Mondays, its privatization is only possible in conjunction with the reception hall and not separately.

Offer your guests a unique cultural experience with our private exhibition tours, organized outside of opening hours. These privileged moments can include breakfast, served at the Petit Café (operated by our partner Cojean) or, if space allows, in the Marie-Claude Beaud Studio. We particularly offer breakfasts on Thursday mornings, starting at 8:30 AM, for groups of up to 100 people, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition spaces, accessible exclusively before public opening hours.

→ If your group wishes to discover our exhibitions during regular opening hours (Wednesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and Tuesday from 11 AM to 10 PM), we invite you to contact our dedicated groups team directly at: groupes@fondation.cartier.com.

→ For tours outside opening hours or with reception services: for any group tour organized outside these time slots, or if you wish to include reception services (drinks, catering), our dedicated private events team will be your privileged contact to assist you.

Customized event formats are possible, adapting to the specificities of our exhibitions. This includes intimate receptions close to the artworks, film shoots, or the complete privatization of the building (between exhibitions) for galas, fashion shows, and other large-scale events. → Other exhibition spaces will be visitable during privatizations but cannot host receptions.

→ For evening receptions, it will be possible to visit the exhibition privately when desired on Mondays (closing day), but for other evenings (in the auditorium), access to the completely empty exhibition will only be possible from the end of public opening hours (although it is possible to start the reception in the Studio Marie-Claude Beaud beforehand).
