An American painter in Paris, Shirley Jaffe belongs to the second generation of abstract expressionism.
From her transition to Paris, Shirley Jaffe has retained the desire to create pieces that change constantly and to strike a balance at the same time, through order that focuses the painting on an essential movement. From her canvases emerge a colorful geometry, a dynamism on the surface, striking with pure and bold color where shapes and movements find all their meaning.
