“While I am an artist, the fact is that I don’t produce the recognizable; rather, I produce the apparent, or apparitions. No proof can help those who look to see. Because of this, I don’t necessarily create artistic objects or things. Rather, I create improbabilities, which either resemble a set pattern or don’t. I simply leave traces. Exactly and precisely where I can neither fix them, nor demonstrate them, nor undo them. I play with my traces, to avoid getting lost in too precise of an error, or in too vague of a precision. To avoid dissolving into the unknown, or suffocating in certainty...”
