The exhibit Andy Warhol System: Pub–Pop–Rock is the result of encounters between various players with different motivations. The meeting between MoMA and the Fondation Cartier allowed the Fondation to be the first to know about this exhibit, expected to circulate throughout five countries in eastern Europe, and to thus link the three summer events planned at the Fondation Cartier under the title Andy Warhol System: Pub–Pop–Rock.

Andy Warhol, Les Estampes
Riva Castleman, Director of the Department of Prints and Illustrated Books at MoMA, through a rigorous selection process and with a critical American eye, delivers a fundamental reflection on Warhol’s work in this exhibit.

Success is a Job in New York
Designed by Donna de Salvo and organized by the Grey Art Gallery & Study Center at New York University, the exhibit “Success is a Job in New York” brings together works by Andy Warhol created between 1945 and 1962.

Sur les traces acharnées du Velvet
The exhibit, conceived by the Fondation Cartier with the collaboration and participation of Lou Reed, John Cale, Maureen Tucker, and Sterling Morrison, alludes to the collaboration between Andy Warhol and The Velvet Underground.
