The exhibition organized by the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, in collaboration with Philippe Sollers, explores the moment love is declared and revealed. Focusing on action, mobility, the work of art and the power of its presence, the exhibition Amours has devoted the entire space of the Fondation Cartier to the conventions of the representation.

Amours is showing hundreds of classical and modern works (drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs as well as video and cinema). This visual exploration of the feeling love, openly mixes eras and cultures, chances analogies and cross references, tells several tales and introduces elements of poetic and aesthetic reflection.
