To mark the European Night of Museums, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain is opening its doors free of charge and inviting the public to discover its new venue in the heart of Paris, on the Place du Palais-Royal.  

For one evening, the Fondation Cartier offers a visitor experience accessible to all and true to the spirit of the event. The public will thus be able to discover or rediscover Exposition Générale, which puts more than forty years of contemporary creation into perspective through works from the Collection and artists who have shaped the history of the Fondation Cartier. It is also an opportunity to freely explore the new building designed by Jean Nouvel, whose architecture offers multiple ways to engage with the works.  

In the exhibition

    7 pm - 11 pm : Flash tours

    Throughout the visit, the exhibition’s guides will lead flash tours every 30 minutes on each floor, accompanying visitors to answer questions and foster discussion.

In the Manufacture

  • La Manufacture 2026

    7 pm - 11 pm : Open Workshop

    The public is also invited to discover La Manufacture, the Fondation Cartier’s brand-new space dedicated to visual arts and hands-on engagement. Free workshops and introductory sessions will be offered throughout the evening, providing everyone with an opportunity to connect with the artworks through hands-on activities.
