This is an original way of discovering the exhibition’s depth and diversity.

The "Visite insolite" offers a unique vision of the exhibitions and allows visitors to discover them from a precise viewpoint by establishing connections to the history of art and contemporary ideas, or by bringing into play other senses and other ways of discovering the artwork on display experientially.

A Visite insolite on the theme "Contre-récits culturels"

Conceived by our team, this tour invites visitors to discover works from the Exposition Générale created by artists who have explored the repercussions of colonial history and their effects on the societies they inhabit. This visit highlights the richness of modes of representation and the plurality of alternative narratives – be they utopian or critical – that stem from them, thereby enriching traditional artistic perspectives with post-colonial reflections.
