This is an original way of discovering the exhibition’s depth and diversity.

The "Visite insolite" offers a unique vision of the exhibitions and allows visitors to discover them from a precise viewpoint by establishing connections to the history of art and contemporary ideas, or by bringing into play other senses and other ways of discovering the artwork on display experientially.

A Visite insolite on the theme "Décentrer le regard"

This itinerary offers an exploration of works from Exposition Générale, created by artists who examine the repercussions of colonial history and its impact on the societies they inhabit. Through a diversity of mediums such as architecture, painting, photography, or sculpture, this tour reveals the plurality of modes of representation and alternative narratives – whether utopian or critical – that emerge, thus enriching traditional artistic perspectives with post-colonial reflections.

This tour was conceived by the art ambassador team.
