The World Around, une plateforme internationale dédiée à l’architecture et au design, et la Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain ont le plaisir de présenter le travail d’artistes internationaux visionnaires et interdisciplinaires à l’occasion du programme inaugural de The World Around sur la côte Ouest des États-Unis.

The In Focus series allows The World Around to travel and partner with global institutions, and delve into specifi c topics to gain a deeper understanding of how they shape—or can be shaped by—the work of architects and designers. Each program in the series convenes leading fi gures in architecture and related fi elds to present their work related to the topic at hand—providing a broad overview of the status quo, and demonstrating how their specifi c projects and wider fi elds are shifting, advancing, or challenging what the future can look like. Previous iterations have included deep-dives into Landscapes, Research, Radical Repair, Precarity, and Land.
