The exhibition in detail

Since the end of the 60s, the artist’s solitary struggle has given rise to a profoundly original body of “poetic objects,” the fruit of deliberate DIY designed to overcome the gravity of the world, including flying machines, planes, airships, caterpillar tanks, automobiles and submarines. These finished machines or models, most of which actually work, have been designed with scientific precision and a technical sophistication based on a study of insect fight, energy sources, aerodynamics and the works of Leonardo da Vinci.
