Stuart A. Staples, the Tindersticks lead singer with the magnificently melancholy voice, performs solo for the first time! An intimate concert, for his first date in France, at the Nomadic Nights of the Fondation Cartier.
With a grand tour programmed in 2022 to celebrate the 30 years of the legendary British group Tindersticks, the lead singer with a voice of gravelly velvet, Stuart A. Staples, enjoys an interlude and performs solo on stage for the first time.
“Writing a song stems from a feeling. All you can do with music is to try and capture those really strong emotions that surround us at a given moment.”
For this intimate concert, with Stuart A. Staples accompanied on piano only, the singer revisits his repertoire and allows the public to hear his songs in their rawest state, that closest to their conception. A rare and unique opportunity to get up close and personal with this remarkable singer and (re)discover his unique blend of ethereal, somber and melancholy rock.
