Photography of Yesteryear

Marie Rameau will share her passion by offering children a journey back in time to discover pioneering photography techniques. Starting with a first painted glass plate serving as a negative, and using the scratch card technique, the children will make a water-themed drawing inspired by the exhibition’s photographs. They will then transpose the drawing onto a second photosensitive glass plate to make a print, and will take their artwork, framed and decorated with gold leaf, home with them.
