Exhibition overview
The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain has decided to bring together the artist’s most significant works for the first time in France, from his first black-and-white prints to a series of photographs produced specifically for the event. The exhibition will present approximately 150 images from public and private collections in Europe and the United States, including vintage prints, made using the dye transfer process—the technique most characteristic of his work—as well as many lesser-known and previously unseen prints, both vintage and contemporary.
