Going against the tide of expressionist aesthetics, Lisa Milroy, a Canadian artist living in England, offers paintings that are striking in their loyalty to fully realistic expression. Fond of depicting trivial or personal objects laid out meticulously, Lisa Milroy creates imagery with subtle, slightly outdated charm over which time does not seem to have a hold.
