About the event
The Less Good Lounge
Documentation space Moments of Making (archives, documentary film and sound installation).
Bookshop space in collaboration with The Centre for the Less Good Idea and the Fondation Cartier.
Bar
100 % African cafeteria, run by Maison Soré, open every day and evenings of performances.
“Soré” means “cooking” in Soninké, a West African language and ethnicity. It is also the anagram of French word “oser” (“dare”; it was necessary!). It’s a canteen, a grocery store and a caterer that allows you to (re)discover African cuisine, its flavors, its culture, its subtlety. Far from clichés, Maison Soré demonstrates that African cuisine is just as good, beautiful and intense as other cuisines! Through its authentic recipes based on meat, fish or vegan, the entire continent and its diversity are in the spotlight.
