Bruce Albert et Davi Kopenawa, Yanomami, l’esprit de la forêt

Co-published with Actes Sud, this book gathers texts by French anthropologist Bruce Albert, undisputed specialist of the Yanomami, and Davi Kopenawa, one of the most respected shamans of this people inhabiting a vast forest territory in northwestern Brazil. Sharing their voices, their views and their sensibilities along with those of artists and scientists, their texts evoke the shamanic perspective of the Yanomami, the images and sounds of the Amazonian Forest, the complexity of its biodiversity and the threat of its destruction.

The publication Graciela Iturbide, Heliotropo 37 offers a genuine exploration of the work and personal universe of Graciela Iturbide, from the 1970s to the present day. Through more than 250 photographs, it presents her iconic images and an important selection of previously unpublished photographs, as well as a colour series specially commissioned by the Fondation Cartier, revealing a sensitive, poetic and humanistic work.
