Exhibition overview
The exhibition Comme un oiseau looks at man’s fascination with birds. Inviting to contemplation, the exhibition explores the original relation a civilization, culture, or artists entertains with the world of birds, from man’s earliest art to contemporary art, taking in along the way western art-works since the 17th century on.
The views of the ethnographer, ornithologist, poet, philosopher and artist together invite us to see birds as a way of exercising our gaze, our thoughts and our imagination.
