Rêves de desert is presented as a notebook of a journey to Timbuktu. The pages are composed of photographs by Raymond Depardon and drawings by Titouan Lamazou. Each page features black-and-white prints of African deserts on which Titouan Lamazou drew and painted during his trip to the Timbuktu region in 2000 : gouaches, pastels, inks, collages, and indigo powder.
