Coloring with Sarah Sze Created with Leela Mukherjee-Sze and Aria Mukherjee-Sze

Sarah Sze creates large-scale installations, made of a multitude of small everyday objects, materials, and images, that spread across the exhibition space. She also realizes canvases inspired by her installations, in which she associates collage, paintings, and photography. In 2020, on the occasion of the exhibition Sarah Sze, Night into Day, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain asked the artist to create a coloring book. With her two daughters, Sarah Sze decomposed one of her paintings and imagined a journey through the canvas. Created by kids, for kids, this coloring book invites to a daydream in one of the artist’s imaginary worlds.
