Exceptional closure of the big exhibition room of the ground floor:
Due to the Nomadic Nights of Friday the 10th of November 2017, Thursday the 11th of January 2018 and Saturday the 17th of February 2018 the big exhibition room of the ground floor will exceptionally be closed starting from 5pm. A reduced rate will be offered to visitors starting from this schedule.
Due to a private event, the Photo Studio of the exhibition Malick Sidibé, Mali Twist won’t be accessible to the audience on Wednesday the 8th of November 2017, and the big exhibition room of the ground floor will exceptionally be closed starting from 6pm. Following the recent state of emergency that has been declared in France and Vigipirate’s security measures, we inform our visitors that :
Security will check every bag at entry
Luggage and cumbersome items (suitcases, large packpacks, bikes) are forbidden
Hand bags and small backpacks (A3 format) are allowed
Open every day, except Monday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Open Tuesday evenings until 10 p.m.

After a brief presentation of the Fondation Cartier, its activities and its garden, the visitor will have the chance to discoverJean Nouvel’s building, its different architectural components, one of the office floors above the exhibition space – a floor which is usually closed to the public–, and the furniture designed especially for this building.
