The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presents the film Vivid Memories, directed by Paraguayan artist Fredi Casco in collaboration with the director Renate Costa. Vivid Memories recounts the story of the foundation’s 30-year commitment to artists form all over the world. Including interviews with Nan Goldin, David Lynch, Takashi Murakami and Mark Newson, as well as previously unseen archive film footage, Vivid Memories provides the public with a unique opportunity to delve into the history and spirit of the Fondation Cartier.

For its 30th anniversary, the Fondation Cartier presents an exclusive weekly encounter with Nobuyoshi Araki on its website. Since the month of May 2014 and until March 2015, the Japanese photographer puts together slide shows featuring shots of Tokyo or of young women, sensual still lifes or snapshots of his local bar in the neighborhood of Kabukicho, which all gain meaning through the flow of their sequence.
The slide show will exceptionally be screened in full on this evening.

This project is carried out in collaboration with the Taka Ishii gallery in Tokyo.
Throughout the evening, the exhibition spaces of the Fondation Cartier will exceptionally be open to the public.

No reservations, entrance with the exhibition ticket, within the limit of available space.
