About

The Fondation Cartier has been a publisher since its creation, launching over 150 exhibition catalogues distributed in France and around the world. Its catalogue ranges from theme books on rock ‘n’ roll, graffiti or mathematics to monographs on artists such as Patti Smith, Raymond Depardon, David Lynch, Takeshi Kitano and Mœbius.

Created in close collaboration with the artists, these books seek to echo the projects on show, focusing on interviews with the creators alongside contributions from philosophers, writers or anthropologists, from Paul Virilio to Alberto Manguel or Peter Sloterdijk.
