LIFE OF THE COLLECTION

For over thirty years, the Collection of the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain has been the most direct expression of Cartier’s patronage in contemporary art. It reflects an attentive program to the major issues of our time and society. Including over 1,400 works, the collection brings together 300 artists from all over the world and reflects the Fondation Cartier’s commitment to artists and contemporary art since its creation in 1984.

The Fondation Cartier regularly receives requests to lend works to major cultural institutions in France and abroad:
